Atlas Obscura

The guidebooks might show you where to start, but it rarely shows you what makes a place truly unforgettable.
Atlas Obscura invites travelers to look beyond the common landmarks and discover the strange, fascinating, one-of-a-kind places that give a destination its character.
Because the most memorable attractions aren't the ones highlighted on the map, but found when you go looking for them.

OOH Self-Guided Tour:
We will place installations next to major tourist landmarks. Each installation subtly hints at a lesser-known attraction nearby in the same city. A scannable QR code on each display leads directly to the corresponding Atlas Obscura attraction page, encouraging tourists to veer off the typical route and discover the city’s hidden wonders on a personal, self-guided tour.

Shot in a vlog-style format, the series will follow creators as they track down and explore attractions discovered through the OOH flyers, turning each find into an adventure worth sharing.
OOH Flyers:
Flyers will be placed throughout cities where Atlas Obscura attractions can be found.Designed to be subtle and intrigue-driven, they won’t reveal the attraction outright.
Each flyer includes a QR code that leads directly to the Atlas Obscura landing page for that specific attraction, along with an address / directions on how to get there.
